Tina Lyndon Ng
President & UCTC Representative
Tina is a candidate with the
Uniting Church. She is married to John and has two adult children. Tina
obtained her Bachelor of Theology and Masters of Theological studies
as a private student and is now undertaking an Advanced Diploma of Theology
and recently completed a Diploma of Creative Writing at Melbourne University.
Before becoming a candidate she worked for twenty years as lawyer in
a variety of positions, including management. Her email address is:

Angela Stanfield

Steve
JTC Representative and Treasurer
Steve grew
up in Canberra and was educated by the Marist Brothers. He did
a Social Science degree and moved to Sydney. In Sydney, Steve worked
in a variety of call centres, mainly in telecommunications customer
service. In 2004 he started looking at the Jesuits and went through
the application process. He entered the novitiate 2005 and took vows
in 2007. He is studying for his Bachelor of Theology at the United Faculty
of Theology.
Maureen Powles
Independent Students Representative
Maureen is originally from
New Zealand and has Masters Degrees in Education and Development Studies.
She is retired from teaching, mainly Academic English and Study Skills,
in schools and universities in various parts of world. In particular,
she and her husband Guy have lived and worked for many years in a number
of Pacific Island countries. They have three children and eight
grandchildren. Maureen is at present studying for a Graduate Diploma
in Theology. She will be co-ordinating the TSA initiative to provide
assistance for UFT students whose mother tongue is not English.
Jin-Hyuk Park
International Students
Jin-hyuk Park grew up most of his time in Korea including cities and countryside. He did a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in Korea. Then, he joined Society of Jesus in 2000 and took vows in 2002. In February 2005, He finished a Master of Philosophy in the graduate school of theology in So-Gang University which is Jesuit-run University in Korea. Then, he moved to do his regency (an experience of full-time ministry) in Cambodia as a member of Jesuit Service Cambodia from Mar 2005 to Jan 2007. He came to Australia to study theology last April 2007, and now, is studying for his Bachelor of Theology at the United Faculty of Theology.

TSA Meetings
Meeting dates will be posted in advance on the UFT website.
Annual General Meeting
The AGM will be held in the second semester. The meeting date will be advertised on the UFT website and by student email.
The aim of the TSA is to represent student views and interests to the UFT and to promote a sense of community within the student body. To this end the TSA
· Publishes a TSA Gazette.
· Represents students at meetings of the UFT Senatus and Academic Board.
· Organises social events.
· Provides a channel for student input to the UFT by bringing issues raised by students to the UFT Dean or President and by canvassing members’ views in response to requests for feedback by the UFT faculty.
· Participates in planning and leadership of the Valedictory Service.
