Admissions and Enrolment
The United Faculty of Theology offers courses in which the educational facilities of the participating Colleges are co-ordinated on the basis of a common timetable. It is possible to enrol in one or more single semester units without enrolling in a full degree or diploma course.
- The Faculty reserves the right to cancel or vary unit offerings where circumstances warrant such action.
- Students are encouraged to take units at other Recognised Teaching Institutions (CTC, CCTC, Whitley and YTU) for credit towards the BTheol degree, particularly if the desired units are not available at the UFT. Enrolment for such admission and payment of fees must be made through the UFT office, in addition to fulfilling the requirements of the RTI concerned.
- Students wishing to transfer BTheol enrolment from another RTI to the UFT must present to the UFT office a transcript of units completed and an authorisation of transfer from the Dean of the former RTI.
- Students enrolled in Postgraduate MCD awards, who elect to take UFT units, need to enrol through the UFT.
Enrolment for 2008
Students may enrol or re-enrol at the UFT office until 13 December 2007 and from 29 January to 14 February 2008.
Second semester enrolment must be completed by Thursday July 10, 2008. It is advisable however to enrol for second semester units in first semester; payment of unit fee can be made at a later time.
All undergraduate and graduate enrolments must be approved by the Dean, who is also the Postgraduate Co-ordinator for postgraduate coursework. In the case of students who are re-enrolling, approval may be sought by email. Students doing postgraduate research degrees must have their enrolment approved by the Research Studies Co-ordinator.
